I chose to emulate and research Tracey Baran because I was immediately drawn to her use of color and the emotional connection I had to her work. Her work was all about her home in New York and her friends, family and herself. Alot of her work has an unsettling feel to it, but tells a story. Her work resembles a diary of her life even though it unfortunately came to and end at a young age. I chose to take a picture of my sisters hands with blueberries in them, but instead of being perfect round blueberries I had her mush them in her hands to give off an unsettling feel.
